Education: Our business educates our stakeholders (internal/external) about our sustainability practices and involves them in minimizing the life-cycle social and environmental impacts of our services.
Community Involvement:
Our business is locally owned and is substantially involved in our local community, providing financial, in-kind and volunteer support while using local materials and services. We have committed to financial support of the Youth Scholarship fund for CISV Rocky Mountain Denver to develop global citizenship, giving $5 for each Service Leadership participant.

Candace A Ruiz, MBA
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Operations, Business Service Corps.
Candace's mission is to assist businesses to become more sustainable and, through this passion, Business Service Corp was founded. Candace's love for the environment started when she was very young with her love of nature and a desire for a clean world. At Colorado Mountain College she continued her education in Natural Resource Management where her passion for the environment and sustainability grew. She received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Technology and International Enterprise from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Candace held several professional positions through which she developed her business management, financial and operational skills. In 2007, she earned an MBA with emphasis in International Business from Regis University, Denver, CO, and while there coordinated service projects administration. Candace is very involved with regional initiatives including Bioneers, CORE, Business Social Responsibility and the Colorado New Energy Economy; and is currently teaching business courses at three colleges in the Denver area.
Cristin C. Tarr
Co-Founder and Managing Partner Business Development and Facilitator, Business Service Corps. Cristin's passion to help others collaborate and commitment to global citizenship launched Business Service Corps. Eleven-year-old Cristin first embraced Global Citizenship while traveling to Europe to be an international peace ambassador. After high school, she traveled extensively, living abroad and graduated with a degree in marketing and international business. Her first jobs after college were on New York City's Wall Street, and later at American Airlines as director of international and domestic sales. Cristin has worked for over 15 years with non-profits, and after moving to Colorado, co-founded the Denver Chapter of Children's International Summer Villages (CISV). Today that CISV chapter has involved well over 1000 youth and adults in international and domestic programs. In 2005 she joined the staff at South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. For two years, she headed up the non-profit and philanthropy group, assisting struggling non-profits and encouraging collaboration with businesses.
